New Year in Turin
Turin remains a city of taste - good taste. A“theatre city” with its refined baroque aesthetic, its convivial pleasures wrapped in an elegant sobriety, sparkling with the myriad shards of light from its precious crystals, mirrors, velvets, frescoes and the internal and natural scenery that embellish it. The physical, historic, and cultural centre is the symbol of the ancient capital of the Savoy kingdom. Turin would not be the same without its palaces, such as the Palazzo Madama and the Palazzo Reale, or without the porticos dating from the baroque period. Built to protect the royal family and their court from bad weather, these stunning architectural pieces are visible from an 18 kilometre walk which winds around the centre. There will be an exclusive visit to the most esoteric part of the city which has been visited only by mysterious ancient personalities.
